Dr. Mac
Dr. Mac (aka Don MacMannis, Ph.D.) is a singer, songwriter and producer who specializes in creative projects for young children. He is music director and songwriter for the PBS hit series, Jay Jay the Jet Plane, and has won numerous awards for his songwriting and production talents. He has written and produced over a hundred songs.
Also a child and family psychologist, he is the Clinical Director of the Family Therapy Institute of Santa Barbara. He is the co-author of the highly acclaimed book, How’s Your Family Really Doing?: 10 Keys to a Happy Loving Family. He has been a school consultant for the past twenty-five years and has taught courses in psychology at graduate and post-graduate levels. In high demand as a presenter on a variety of topics related to parenting, teaching, and social and emotional learning, he has been featured in national newspapers, magazines, radio programs, CNN, Time Magazine, Inside Edition, Time for Kids, AOL, and At Home-Live.
Brian Mann
Brian is a key player, songwriter and partner in these musical projects with Dr. Mac. A talented and accomplished composer, keyboardist, arranger and accordionist, he has been writing and performing music since 4 years of age.
Trained in classical music, he hit the road with Kenny Loggins, Michael MacDonald and many others in his twenties, and played on and arranged music for many gold and platinum records.
Through his partnerships with Dr. Mac and Craig Dobbin, he has also scored countless children’s shows, CDs and DVDs.
